This is from my Facebook Live on April 24
Hi Friends! I am SO thankful for a beautiful spring day here in the midwest!
As I was praying and thinking about what to share today. The Lord directed me to end this week with Psalm 100 – the Psalm of Thanksgiving. If you have your Bibles, read along with me. I’m reading from the New Living Translation.
Shout with joy to the Lord, all the earth!
Psalm 100 NLT
Worship the Lord with gladness.
Come before him, singing with joy.
Acknowledge that the Lord is God!
He made us, and we are his.
We are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving;
go into his courts with praise.
Give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the Lord is good.
His unfailing love continues forever,
and his faithfulness continues to each generation.
Friends, We live in a world right now with so much uncertainity. Many of you are living in the middle of a storm. This may be the first time you have had to face pain or hardship. I know that the enemy wants to keep you stuck and feeling down and I know the last thing on your mind may be to praise God in the middle of your storm.
However, I believe thankfulness keeps us connected to God in the middle of our circumstances. When we praise God in the middle of our storm, it shows God that you believe he will see you through it!
No matter what you are experiencing today, God is with you. Remember, the Lord is good. His unfailing love and his faithfulness contiues to each generation!
Will you pray with me?
Heavenly Father, Thank you for being with us this day. Thank you for the reminder to worship you with gladness and to come before you thanksgiving and praise!
Oh Lord, I pray for those listening to this message, I pray they will experience your peace today. I pray they will focus on giving thanks and praising you while they are in the middle of their storms.
God you are so faithful! Thank you for loving us. I pray for everyone who is fighting the Coronavirus right now. God bring healing to their bodies. Lord, bless the healthcare workers who are continuing to be on the front lines fighting this pandemic. Lord, I lift up all the unspoken requests we have on our hearts rightnow…
Thank you for the privilege to come to you in prayer. We ask these things in Jesus name, Amen.
Thanks for joining me today!
Now.. Go get your praise and worship on!
Have a blessed day!
